At the time of receiving the game of the year award, the head of development Elder Ring Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that FromSoftware wasn’t done with the game yet. The game director said his team plans to do something else.
It is not known what exactly Miyazaki hinted at. A large addition, or even several, seems very likely. This week Elder Ring has received the first batch of new content, but this is just a free update with an emphasis on PvP.
Earlier this year, Bandai Namco announced this Elder Ring is a new franchise in all respects, within which not only games will be created, but also various transmedia projects.
Less than a year Elder Ring it has sold over 17 million copies.
