A Hezbollah “Islamic Resistance” officer confirmed today, Friday, that “we are deployed in two regions on the southern front, the Golan region and the Galilee region.”
He added in an interview with Al-Mayadeen, “The Israelis reinforced the front with the 146th Division, intelligence, air defense forces, and firepower.”
He continued, “Our deployment was operational and we remained fully prepared to confront any attack. The greatest achievement was attracting a large portion of the Israeli forces from inside the country to the Lebanese front. Attracting the Israeli forces reduced the pressure on our brothers in Gaza.”
He added, “The operations began in the Shebaa Farms area and extended to include all locations with a distance of more than 100 km. The main achievement was to blind the enemy’s eyes and prevent him from seeing.”
He said: “A large number of Merkava tanks were hit and damaged by guided missiles, and one of the basic achievements was the destruction of a large portion of Israeli positions.”
He stressed that “the Israeli interior was targeted and the work of the Iron Dome was disrupted in many places.”
He pointed out that “the resistance responded to the enemy that attacked the Iqlim al-Tuffah area by expanding the beam of fire and the quality of the response.”
