iPad Air 2022: everything we know about the new model
The new iPad Air will be released this year, but it looks like it won’t be that innovative at all. At least not compared to the iPad mini and the iPad Air 2020.

According to the Japanese blog Mac Otakara gets the fifth generation iPad Air features similar to those of the sixth-generation iPad mini. It comes down to this: it gets the A15 Bionic chip, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle front camera, 5G for cellular models and Quad-LED True Tone for color fidelity.
The design of the device is also not groundbreaking. Mac Otakara claims that it will be the same as that of the fourth-generation iPad Air from 2020. The website specifically mentions that the rear camera will have one lens again.
If the rumors are true, the iPad Air 2022 is a combination of two older iPads. In other words: it’s perfect if you like the features of the mini, but the design of the Air. And hopefully you won’t have to wait long, because maybe he will be this spring at Apple’s first event of 2022 already announced.
OLED screen?
In 2021 it was repeatedly called that the iPad Air 2022 with an OLED screen would be delivered. Still, the fun was short-lived, because it turned out later that these plans off the track goods. Now it is whispered that this has come to naught because Apple and Samsung have not come to an agreement.
This is not all: a new message reports that the two tech companies are currently negotiating with each other again. If they do come out this time, it will appear at the earliest an iPad with an OLED screen in 2024.
