Here’s How to Enable Two-Step Authentication on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp : Okezone techno

Well, on social media, you can use the two-way authentication feature.

This feature can be the right security measure for users to protect data security and privacy on social media.

In press release Facebook, This two-step authentication is likened to an extra lock on a house so that it is not easily infiltrated by thieves.

By activating this feature, of course, you can minimize the potential for hacking by hackers.

Facebook also shared steps to activate the two-step authentication feature that can be applied to Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp accounts.

Here are the steps:

Facebook

– Open the Settings menu on the Facebook application, then select Security and Login

– Scroll down, select Use two-factor authentication

– Choose one of the two security methods that appear on the screen: the login code from the authentication application; or code from SMS on mobile

– Once two-factor authentication is active, enter the code from Facebook when logging in on a different device/gadget

Instagram

– Go to Instagram Profile, then select Settings

– Select Security, then click Two-factor authentication

– Choose one of the two security methods that appear on the screen: the login code from the authentication application; or code from SMS on mobile

– Once two-factor authentication is active, enter the code from Instagram when logging in on a different device/gadget

WhatsApp

– Go to WhatsApp Profile, then select Settings

– Select Account, then click Two-Step Authentication

Activate this feature by entering a 6-digit PIN code

– Once this Two-Step Authentication is enabled, enter this 6-digit PIN code when logging in on a different device/gadget.
