Each year, parents and students eagerly scrutinize the announcement of the school vacation calendar. A calendar divided into three zones, A, B and C. The academies of Corsica as well as overseas territories have their own calendar too.
Zone A corresponds to the academies of: Besançon, Dijon, Grenoble, Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand, Limoges, Poitiers and Bordeaux.
Zone B at the academies of Strasbourg, Nancy-Metz, Reims, Lille, Amiens, Rouen, Caen, Rennes, Nantes, Orléans-Tours, Nice and Aix-Marseille.
Finally, zone C corresponds to the academies of Paris, Versailles, Créteil, Toulouse and Montpellier.
