Here are the comments of the general public after testing the Yamaha E01 electric scooter

The Yamaha Flagship Shop has started a market test program for the Yamaha E01. There are 3 units usable by the public for a test drive on the main road. This test ride opportunity is limited, intended only for people who register and meet the set criteria and conditions, so participants can pick up the E01 unit directly at the Yamaha Flagship Shop Jakarta. How did the community respond after trying the Yamaha E01 test unit?

The first three entrants who met the criteria were able to test the Yamaha E01 immediately on November 22, 2021. One of the test ride participants admitted that he felt very comfortable using the Yamaha E01 for 8 hours traveling around Jakarta through various conditions urban roads.

Yamaha E01 is equipped with a powerful electric motor with an output power of up to 8.1 Kw. It’s even more comfortable with 3 driving modes (ECO/STD/PWR) that can be adjusted to suit road conditions and driver needs.

“My impression is very positive with this Yamaha E01 electric motorcycle. In terms of power, it is quite suitable for urban roads, moreover, there are 3 riding modes available and the ones I use most often are STD and PWR modes. Also crossing city streets, which are not all flat and smooth, this bike is very comfortable. The suspension is able to dampen vibrations very well, providing extra comfort so that the journey does not feel tiring,” said the test participant laughs, Yonatan, in his statement.

“The saddle is also of very good quality, it can support my posture and is very soft. In terms of size, this bike is like Yamaha motorcycles in general, not like a scooter that is only given an electric motorcycle. Control is natural, also very good, the build quality is also very good,” continued Yonatan.

The battery life is also said to perform very well. In a fully loaded state, this motorcycle would be able to cover a cruising distance of 104km. Quite far for an electric scooter.

“During my test ride I used the Yamaha E01 for about 91 KM. Running on 100% battery, after a day of riding around, the battery still has 29%. Use it to commute from my house to West Jakarta and Central Office in Jakarta, this bike can last about 2 days without needing to be recharged,” added Yonatan.

To support the smooth running of the E01 market test programme, Yamaha has set up a Fast Charger and Normal Charger facility to recharge the motorcycle batteries available at the Yamaha Flagship Shop area, Jakarta. Also, if the participants experience any problems during the test ride, services in the form of Yamaha Visit Service (SKY) and Yamaha Emergency Service 24 (YES 24) have been alerted to help.
