An 80-year-old motorist, who hit the driver on 9 May 2020 with the regular bus at the bottom of the John Frost Bridge in Arnhem South, died ten days later in hospital. The traffic lights at the intersection were not working at the time of the collision. Despite the applicable flashing yellow traffic light, the priority sign and the shark teeth, the driver drove onto a priority road.
