The cost of the operation, in addition to medicines and treatment in the hospital, is 45 thousand and 491 dirhams, and the operation must be performed for him as soon as possible, otherwise he will suffer permanent blindness.

The patient (Abu Al-Hassan) tells the story of his suffering with the disease, saying: “I had kidney failure in 2015, which necessitated a kidney transplant for me, and this led to the emergence of health problems for me, as, two years ago, I felt that I could not see clearly, and I had A vision examination, and it was found that there is a difference in the degrees of vision between the right and left eyes, so the doctor advised me to wear medical glasses in order to preserve my vision.

And the patient continued: «After I put on the medical glasses, my vision improved a little, but for some time I have been feeling a chronic headache, and I took some painkillers, to no avail, and when I was at home, I felt that my head would explode from pain, so my sister, with whom I live, took me to the nearest hospital».

He added: «I was admitted to the emergency department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City Hospital, and after examining the attending physician, he decided to stay in the hospital for a day to conduct medical examinations and analyzes, and to find out the cause of the headache, and I was given some medicines and painkillers, after which the doctor asked me if I had health problems, So I told him that I had previously suffered from kidney failure, and a kidney transplant was done for me, then he asked me to perform tests and analyzes and do an eye examination, to be sure that there were no health problems in it.

He continued: «I remained in the hospital, and all the examinations and analyzes that the doctor requested of me were carried out, which showed that I do not suffer from health problems, except for a defect in the left eye, which is the cause of frequent headaches, and the doctor asked me to perform a corneal transplant, otherwise I will become completely blind. In the short term, an operation must be carried out urgently. The patient added, “The doctor said that the cost of corneal transplantation in the hospital amounts to 45,491 dirhams, and it must be performed as soon as possible, and this amount is large for me, given my financial condition, and my inability to provide even a small part of the costs of my surgery, in addition to I need drugs to treat the kidneys, and continuous follow-ups, which cost for a year 50 thousand and 942 dirhams.

(Abu Al-Hassan) indicated that his family consists of eight members, and that he is the only breadwinner for them, and he is currently unemployed because of his health condition, as his family is outside the country, and he lives with his sister, who provides him with some financial assistance, but she is completely unable to pay the costs of the surgery. In addition to other medicines.

He appealed to benevolent people and those with merciful hearts to help him arrange the costs of the operation and the necessary medicines, and to save him from permanent blindness and disease.
