Heidi Klum must now find out how quickly Corona can become a problem for well-rehearsed families. She is having stress with ex-husband Seal.
Seal does not allow her to take their children with her to Germany. The shooting for the new season of “Germany’s Next Topmodel” should take place here from October. Most of the filming usually takes place in Los Angeles, but the cast and crew are currently not allowed to travel to the USA due to Corona. Therefore, Heidi wants to fly to Germany and, as always, take her children Leni (16), Henry (14), Johann (13) and Lou (10) with her. Seal usually allows that too. But now he says no because of Corona. Heidi Klum has therefore requested a hearing in court.
Court has to decide
Klum and Seal share custody, but in their application, Klum explains that the singer only sporadically spends time with the offspring and that the kids spend most of their time with her. The 47-year-old writes in her application: “I am aware of all the necessary protective measures in connection with the Covid-19 virus and would never put our children at risk.”
Klum continues: “I have taken all the precautionary measures for Germany as well as for the United States.” She is grateful for the opportunity to work in the current economic climate. Heidi also offered to leave Seal the children for three weeks over Christmas, although he was allowed to spend the holidays with them last year.
Seal changed his mind
Klum said Seal initially gave his okay on the trip, but changed his mind in April. Since then she has tried to come to an agreement with him privately – without success. She also pointed out that Seal had a British passport and was allowed to travel to Germany. In theory, the pop star could visit his children.
Above all, Heidi says very clearly in her statement: “Our four children have now told me and him – as far as I can see – that they do not want to stay in Los Angeles with their father without me.”
