Health. Slimming through hypnosis: “Slowly but surely”

At 50, Véronique Nosal has given new impetus to her professional career. A new job, a new silhouette for the one who, for twenty-three years, was responsible for a travel agency in Luxembourg. Tired of tourism, she decides to undertake training in human resources. “At the time, my children were still young and, trying to manage everything, I had problems concentrating. She then tests hypnosis successfully. Graduated, she joined an audit company. “I lost a vocal cord there and I ended up in burnout. The months go by and hypnosis is once again evident. Trained at l’Arche (Academy of research and knowledge in Ericksonian hypnosis), she emerged certified as a master practitioner in hypnosis a few years later, then chance put her in the path of Christine Beck, psychologist in Thionville-Élange, with whom she shared the firm for two years. “She was the one who sent me my very first client,” remembers Véronique Nosal, grateful.

“Hypnosis is serious. This is not a show ”

Today, she has taken over the torch and the practice, and practices hypnosis and personal coaching. A “recognized and effective” therapy tool, hypnosis makes it possible to modify a behavior or a state: addiction, stress, anxiety, non-pathological phobia, sleep disorder or even weight gain. “It’s gentle, respectful and the results are there,” says the practitioner. And to all those who still associate hypnosis with a form of charlatanism, she answers bluntly: “Hypnosis is serious. It is not show therapy ”.

But if there is one area in which she has specialized, it is weight loss with the Hypnoslim program, which is a registered trademark and which combines hypnosis, coaching and chrononutrition (eating the right food at the right time) in collaboration with the nutritionist doctor who initiated this program. “To lose weight effectively, you have to act on the head, heart and body at the same time by detecting emotions and learning to manage them, by putting the body in motion and by eating according to the body’s needs. “And the practitioner explains:” I created a Facebook group and I organize walks in the forest once a week, on a voluntary basis, to complete and consolidate the program and allow patients to meet and support each other. “.
