Today, Monday, Monday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 556 corona virus recoverers have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 24975 cases until today.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, said that 931 new cases were proven positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the surveillance, investigation and necessary examinations conducted by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 77 new cases.

Mujahid said that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.

“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Monday, is 83001 cases, including 24975 cases that have been cured, and 3,935 deaths.
