The Ministry of Health and Population has clarified 10 causes of yellowing of the teeth, which are:
Food: A diet high in sugar and carbohydrates stains the teeth and causes tooth decay.
2- Drinks: colored drinks such as coffee and black tea.
3- Smoking: Tobacco products stain your teeth black over time.
4- Medicines: Some antibiotics can cause your teeth to turn gray or brown.
5- Poor oral hygiene: Stained teeth can be a sign of plaque buildup or tooth decay.
6- Diseases: some oral infections.
7- Excessive fluoride: Consumption of fluorinated drinking water, juices and food supplements.
8- Aging: the teeth begin to yellow with age.
9- Genetic factor: yellowing of the teeth can be hereditary.
10- Mild Trauma: Teeth turn gray or black when exposed to an injury.
