Dani Alves, 39, has been behind bars in a prison in the Spanish city of Barcelona since January 20, after a girl accused him of sexually assaulting and raping her in a bathroom in one of the city’s nightclubs.
The judge refused to release Alves more than once for fear of his escape outside the country, while forensic evidence proved that the biological remains that were found belonged to the player himself.
Another girl spoke out via a clip that went viral in Spain on Monday, claiming she had the same experience with Dani Alves eight years ago.
The girl, whose conversation was reported by Marca newspaper, said: Speaking of the Alves case, those close to me know a story that happened with the same person in the same place (night club), and at that time I was 18 years old, he invited me to a VIP place and I faced the same details that the girl faced. The clip, which received millions of views in a short time, disappeared from the “Tik Tok” platform.
Alves changed his statements more than once before the investigators, which contributed to aggravating his position before the courts.
