Neither the sun, the rain nor the mosquitoes stopped Collin Ouellette (19) to be able to show his girlfriend, Camila Baldasso (17), her love after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The young man from Texas U.S, sat day and night in front of his girlfriend’s window to keep her company during the virus recovery process.
And the fact is that the young people underwent the test together, after having been in contact with an infected person.
Texas is one of the states most affected by the pandemic in the north country. As of Wednesday the state confirmed nearly 10,000 new positive cases and 220 deaths, bringing the totals to 523,000 and 9,307.

After taking the exam, Collin came out negative, but Camila unfortunately tested positive.
“He was sad that we couldn’t see each other, but he told me that he would be there for me all the time,” Camila said.
From that moment on, Collin decided to sit day and night in front of his girlfriend’s window every day to spend time together, and not just in a virtual way, despite the restrictions by the pandemic.
The young man placed his chair punctually and endured inclement weather, all for the love of the young woman.
“Sometimes we had dinner together and one night we answered 100 questions that one did to the other. Sometimes I felt bad for her, because she was sitting in the rain or being eaten alive by mosquitoes, “Camila said.
She documented and shared the romantic her boyfriend’s action, which quickly went viral.
Fortunately Camila he recovered from the virus and the young people were able to close again, after several distances; that for them it was an eternity. “The first thing I did was give her the biggest hug in the world,” Camila said.
