Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia– Even though it has the lowest interest rate in Indonesian history, the Retail State Bonds series ORI018 are still selling well with purchases of Rp. 12.97 trillion. The realization of the sales of ORI018 far exceeded the initial target set earlier of Rp 5 trillion.
In his statement, the Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance stated that there were 12,103 new investors with a nominal purchase amount of Rp 5.18 trillion or 40% of the total.
Private employees dominate the number of buyers, namely 8,693 investors or 33% of the total investors. However, in volume terms, it is dominated by entrepreneurs who buy Rp5.9 trillion or 46%.
Just like the previous retail bonds, millennial generation is the largest buyer group, namely 9,127 investors or 35% of the total. Meanwhile, the baby boomers dominate the order volume, which is IDR 5.4 trillion of the total.
Another unique fact is that 47 investors are known to have never been absent even when buying Retail SUN ORI018. In addition, there were 14,168 investors who bought Retail SUN more than once.
