‘Two days ago I lost a dear friend of mine. He’s had a long battle with cancer. I’m glad I scored for him.

He was a great supporter and my best friend. He was a lovely person who came into my life,” Marcus Rashford said.

Meanwhile, with the first two groups completed, the first lineup of the preliminaries match took place.

Group A champions England will take on Group A runners-up Senegal, and Group A runners-up America will take on Group A champions the Netherlands. In another group stage match, the United States they beat Iran by one goal.
