Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch (91) has ended his marriage to Jerry Hall (66), his fourth wife, via email. That is what various British media write. Hall, a former top model,

Hall is said to have been in the UK waiting for her husband when Murdoch sent her an email dryly informing her that their marriage was over. The same email allegedly also stated that Hall could only contact Murdoch’s lawyers from now on.
According to British media, Hall is “heartbroken” by the divorce. “I still love him,” she is said to have told a friend. “Jerry is really devastated by the news. It came like a bolt from the blue. One day they were making plans for the summer, and the next day she gets that message.”
Murdoch and Hall married in 2016. Tensions between Hall and Murdoch’s children are at the root of the split, according to British media. Hall is said to have restricted access to the elderly Murdoch during the corona crisis for health reasons, but his children reportedly thought she was trying to cut ties with their father.
Which undoubtedly also played a role: Murdoch, the chairman of media group News Corp, is estimated to be worth 16 billion euros. Rumors had been circulating for some time that Hall was preying on her husband’s fortune.
