Havre Urban Trail 2022: Races, Routes, and Everything You Need to Know to (Re)Discover the City.

On May 27 and 28, Le Havre will dress in Havre Urban Trail mode. Several races will be offered to participants to (re)discover the city.

Born in 2017, the Havre Urban Trail quickly became the largest trail gathering in Normandy. Inaugurated on the 500th anniversary of Le Hаvrе, the LHUT immediately established itself with more than 2,800 pаrtісіpаnts. In just two edіtіоns, the event has become the trаіl event not to be missed in the vіllе dоyеnnе of French spоrt. This event is organized by the HAC Triathlon. For this edition, the аgеnсе Exаеquо is joining forces with the Le Havre club for сеttе nоuvеllе édіtіоn, which will be held on May 27 and 28.

On Saturday May 27, the Youth Race will be the first to start during the Havre Urban Trail. Three categories of young people will be able to take part and more particularly children born between 2010 and 2016. The mini-chicks will run 1 kilometer. The chicks will travel 1.5 km. The youngest will have to set off for 3 km. A concert will be interspersed between the Youth Race and the 7 km.

Several races on the program

The 7 km in shape will close the day on Saturday. The route will start from the Jardins de l’Hôtel de Ville. It will then pass by the Square Saint-Roch, the Plage du Havre, the Hanging Gardens and the Church of Saint-Michel. Participants will be able to walk or run on this event in order to (re)discover the oldest city. The following day, the Eurovia/MBS Half Marathon will start first at 8:30 am. This 21 km route will pass by emblematic places of the city such as the Gardens of the Hôtel de Ville, Bassin du Commerce, Le Volcan, the Malraux Museum, the Beach of Le Havre, the Cap de la Hève, the Hanging Gardens and the Tourneville fort.

The Marathon will start at 9 a.m. It will leave from the Gardens of the Hôtel de Ville. The Bassin du Commerce, the Volcano, the Malraux Museum, the Plage du Havre, the Cap de la Hève, the Hanging Gardens and the Fort de Tourneville will be crossed by the runners. Just like the Forest and the Château de Montgeon. The Pré Fleuri, the Abbaye de Graville, the Escaliers de Montmorency and the Parc Hauser will also be affected by the passage of marathon runners.

The last race to start will be the 12 km Leclerc Océane Trail. This route will leave from the Jardins de l’Hôtel de Ville, then pass through the Bassin du Commerce, the Catène des containers, the Malraux Museum, the Plage du Havre, the Jardins Suspendus and the Fort de Tourneville. All these races have the ambition to make discover Le Havre under another facet.
