Have you ordered a new iPad Pro, 24-inch iMac, Airtag, or Apple TV? – Marseille News

Apple began taking orders for the fifth-generation iPad Pro, 24-inch color iMac, and second-generation Apple TV 4K on Friday. The company also started selling the purple iPhone 12 and its AirTag item tracker, have you ordered any of these?

Last week we ran a number of surveys to find out if our readers were considering purchasing any of these products, here’s what we found:

IPhone 12 violet: Only 10% of our readers were ready to buy the purple iPhone 12, with almost 3% switching from an existing iPhone 12 to this new color;
New Apple TV 4K: 45% of our readers said they would buy a new Apple TV 4K, while 28% said they would only buy the second generation Siri remote;
24 inch IMac: Almost 32% of our readers don’t plan to buy the new iMac, but those who do, 20% will buy the blue iMac, 16% the silver, followed by the 24-inch green, yellow, orange, purple, and pink. iMac.
AirTag: Over 50% of our readers planned to buy a four-pack of AirTags, while 23% would buy one first to try it out.

All of these products were unveiled at Apple’s “Spring Loaded” event. The new Apple TV 4K, for example, features the A12 Bionic chip, with HDMI 2.1 support for a better 4K HDR experience. There’s also a new, hopefully better Siri Remote that you can read more about here.

The iMac line, for example, received its biggest update in over a decade. Now with seven different colors, it has the M1 chip with faster performance than its Intel predecessor.

The 24-inch iMac features a 4.5K Retina display, 1080p FaceTime camera, and matching Magic keyboard, mouse, and trackpad. Apple also unveiled two options for the Magic Keyboard with integrated Touch ID.

Another product that has received a major update is the iPad Pro. In its fifth generation, the 12.9-inch model now features a mini LED display, which offers much greater localized backlight control, allowing for higher brightness and deeper blacks. The combination increases the contrast ratio and uses less energy.

With the M1 chip, the iPad Pro is up to 50% faster than the old A12Z Bionic, has a Thunderbolt port on the USB-C connector and 5G capabilities in the Cellular version.

All of these products are already available to order from the Apple Online Store and will begin to arrive at customers in the second half of May, around May 21. However, current orders are out of stock in June for many products.

Now what we want to know is: did you order any of these products on Friday? Are you still planning to do this? Vote and tell us in the comments section below.
