Years later, the secret is revealed.
The cult “Bremen Town Musicians” fell in love with the audience thanks to a fascinating storyline, charismatic characters and, of course, fiery songs. It is surprising that almost all the parts of the first part were performed by one person – Oleg Anofriev. But initially the creators gathered a whole ensemble of performers.
Anofriev was intended only for the role of Troubadour. Other characters were supposed to sing in the voices of Andrei Mironov, Yuri Nikulin, Zinovy Gerdt, Oleg Yankovsky and Zoya Khabaradze. But then everything did not go according to plan.
At the appointed time, only Oleg Anofriev came to the studio. But only to report ill health and the inability to register matches that day. However, the event cannot be postponed. Therefore, Anofriev had to be “kicked out” in all roles, including the princess, but he failed to hit such high notes.
Only Anofriyev himself did not agree with this version and stated in all interviews that at that time he played several characters in performances and was generally interested in the One Actor Theater. Therefore, he personally asked the creators of the cartoon to give him all the roles, except for the princess.
Which of these versions is true is difficult to say. But it is worth recognizing that Anofriev coped with the task excellently.
