Have the remains of Noah’s Ark been found? | Mix

Ammon – Excavations conducted at Mount Ararat, the place where Noah, peace be upon him, and his group descended to await the end of the flood, yielded interesting results.

It turns out that Noah’s Ark is still located on the top of Mount Ararat, and appears from time to time from under the snow. Or rather, traces of sea water, mud, and the remains of marine creatures were found on Mount Ararat, which confirms what was stated in the Biblical story about the great flood with which God destroyed humanity drowning in sins, and about the ark that Noah built and escaped on it with his family and animals, taking with him. From every created being, a pair.”

These discoveries were announced by scientists from three Turkish universities, who carried out excavation work at a site called “Ararat Peaks.”

Information about this discovery varied. The Turks claim that it was noted in 1959 by the expert mapmaker Captain Dorobinar.

While the US Central Intelligence Agency, which published its photos in 1995, said that it had taken them in 1949 from a spy plane. The mysterious place was photographed more than once from orbit by Americans and Europeans. But even very clear images taken in 2003 by the Quick Bird satellite with a resolution of up to 60 centimeters did not lead to any unambiguous conclusions.

Some believe that the “Ararat Peaks” represent Noah’s Ark, or rather its fossilized remains.

It resembles the structure of a huge boat located on the southwestern side of Mount Ararat, at an altitude of about 4420 meters, about 2 kilometers horizontally from the west of the mountain peak.

According to the Bible, the length of the ship was about 180 meters, and its width was about 27 meters. The ratio between length and width is 6:1. The percentage is the same as that shown in photographs of the “peaks” taken from satellites.

Last year, Turkish scientists collected dozens of samples from the area – that is, as they believe, around and near Noah’s Ark – and analyzed them, and they now claim that the samples contain clay and marine materials, in addition to marine organisms that are about 5,500 years old.

This was reported by the Turkish website Arkeonews and the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, quoting the head of the research team, Professor Faruk Kaya.

Scientists also say that sea water rising to at least 4,420 metres, likely indicates a flood. This means that the information in the Bible can be confirmed. This means that the idea that the “peaks of Ararat” might represent “the very place” where Noah landed is not so crazy at all.

By the way, this hypothesis was indirectly confirmed by the statements of scientist Porcher Taylor, a professor at the University of Richmond in 2001, when he reported in an interview with the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda that the French industrialist and researcher Fernand Navarre found in July 1955, On a one-meter-long piece of man-made petrified wood meters from the Ararat Peaks.
