A 20-year-old truck driver caused property damage of around 8,000 euros yesterday evening due to a lack of care on the road.
After a turn at the junction with Frohnaustraße coming from the federal highway 294, a traffic sign there was misinterpreted around 5:20 p.m. according to initial findings.
As a result, the truck driver was forced to brake and reverse.
He failed to see the vehicle behind him and a collision ensued.
The vehicle, which was no longer roadworthy, was towed away by towing workers.
