Has the location and era of BioShock 4 been revealed?

The next part of BioShock is being prepared, but Take-Two has not officially released much details about it.

We’ve known for a long time that the next BioShock game is being made, though, for Ken Levine (thanks to him in addition to the BioShock and BioShock Infinite duo, Thief or System Shock 2 most and now he’s doing something during Ghost Story Games) not much to do with it. The game is being made at 2K (a subsidiary of Take-Two, but a dog…) in its new California studio, Cloud Chamber, and so far we’ve heard something about the project through job advertisements that it has an evolving sandbox world, including RPG-like development systems uses and approx. that’s all.

Sacred Symbols associated with Colin Moriarty the podcast however, the presenter revealed surprising details about the next BioShock. According to him, it takes place in Antarctica, a city (according to other rumors), Borealis, and in its period we can do it in the sixties… so approx. the story takes place right in the middle of the Cold War, at a very “hot” time. The game also has a codename (Parkside) and Moriarty says the studio will do anything to hit the mood of the game. They’re pretty secretive about the game, but members of the Cloud Chamber know full well that whatever they’re going to release will be compared to Levine’s work (and if Levine is already, his game will be released by Take-Two as well).

This can be even more interesting if it is true and can be linked to a website, theresalwaysalighthouse.com, in Hungarian “there is always a lighthouse” where at present we can only see a brightly lit light in a starry night. The site has been on its feet for a relatively long time, and in the end it may not have anything to do with BioShock, but you can never know, especially knowing that Take-Two and the Cloud Chamber are very tight-lipped about bringing BioShock back…

All of this is unofficial, of course, but at The Game Awards we might hear about the new BioShock, supposedly timed for 2022 (BioShock: Isolation?) the timing may not be random.
