TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Realme has announced the global launch of the GT3 realm at Mobile World Congress or MWC 2023, Tuesday 28 February 2023. The company boasts of its latest generation of flagship phones with battery charging power (charging) the world’s fastest, 240 W, the first to be applied to a commercial product.

The 240W figure is more than a charging speed record. According to realme, this figure represents the fastest mass-produced charging power ever in the smartphone market and the maximum possible charging power under the USB-C standard. This makes 240 W the highest standard in the world.
By using 240 W of power, the GT3 realm only takes 80 seconds to charge the battery up to 20 percent and only 9.5 minutes to fully charge the 4600 mAh battery on this device.
Battery and Charging Innovations
As the first brand in the industry to mass-produce power fast charging 240W, realme claims to have achieved all-round innovation. Starting from charging security, battery life, to accessories compatibility.
Starting from the architecture, realme GT3 has three chipsets that are maximized for battery charging power at the same time, resulting in a better transfer efficiency of up to 98.5 percent during charging.
In addition, realme GT3 is equipped with a dedicated 12A cable. This cable provides the highest charging current in the industry. The company also provides Double GaN technology. As a result, despite having 60 percent more power, the 240 W adapter is the same size as the 150 W adapter.
Maximized Charging Safety
One of the most difficult challenges in charging high-powered batteries is temperature control. The GT3 realm is equipped with a VC liquid cooling system measuring 6580 square millimeters which can cool 61.5 percent of the battery and ensure efficient heat dissipation. To ensure maximum charging safety, realme GT3 is also equipped with a PS3 fire-resistant design, 13 temperature sensors, and 60 layers of security protection.
TÜV Rheinland has also certified realme GT3 for a secure fast charging system, making it the first product with a fast charging power of 200 W or higher to receive such certification.

In addition, according to internal laboratory testing, the realme GT3 has a lifespan of 80 percent after more than 1,600 charge cycles with a power of 240 W. This is more than double the industry standard of 80 percent battery life after 800 charge cycles.
