Future Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur speculated this summer. Tottenham’s new manager Nuno Espírito Santo insists Kane is still his player.
Harry Kane has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, including Manchester City. The 27-year-old striker since last year has sent a signal that he is ready to leave Tottenham to win trophies.
Throughout his professional career, most of which was spent at Tottenham, he has never won. His best achievement is being runner-up in the English League Cup and Champions League.
However, his contribution has been massive. He scored 221 goals plus made 47 assists in 336 appearances across all competitions.
“Now is the moment for him to recover his energy and rest. Then we can talk. Harry is our player, period.” Nuno Espírito Santo quoted BBC.
“No need to talk about anything else, I’m looking forward to him joining the team. Harry is one of the best players in the world. That’s all I need to say,” added the man who was appointed by Tottenham on June 30 last.
Harry Kane is still under contract with Tottenham Hotspur until June 2024. He led England to the final of Euro 2020.
