Comedian Hans Teeuwen made a conference about the corona crisis: Nasty Games. He recorded the performance in his own living room and it will be broadcast on television next Saturday.
“It was also a blow to me, the corona crisis,” says Teeuwen in a video. “For months you write about a fantastic show and then all at once it stops, I am not allowed to go on the boards anymore. It is as hell as if you chop off his legs with a racehorse. That is how I felt,” said Teeuwen in a video.
Nasty Games is about an artist who is slowly going crazy from sitting at home, which Teeuwen illustrates in his video.
“I had no way to go,” says 53-year-old Teeuwen. “Of course I could sit at home drinking, using drugs and ordering whores, but how do I explain that to my wife? The comedian would perform in the Netherlands and Belgium this autumn with Well, Nice Dan, his first solo show in four years. The tour was completely sold out, but was canceled due to the corona measures.
