The said match allegedly took place in autumn this year. According to the Swedish website, the odds for the victory of “team A” were significantly lowered (from 1.55 to 1.05) a few hours before the match began. Moreover, such a significant drop in the rate took place within just a few dozen minutes.
– There are currently two reasons for this type of sudden change in rates. One of them is the situation when many players in the team are excluded from the game, e.g. due to coronavirus infection. The second reason is setting meetings, one informant told the Swedish portal.
The second team, however, did not enter the field with a weakened squad. The game was very close in the first half, but the odds did not change. The one for the victory of “team A” was still very low. After the change of sides, this team achieved its goal and confidently won. However, the behavior of the players of the other team, who started to commit bizarre technical and tactical errors, was puzzling.
– In my professional bookmaking career I have never seen such an obvious set-up of a match. The fact that it is happening on such a level and that it is so clear, really annoys me – said “Handbollskanalen” one of the informants.
The Swedish website also reads that a professional handball player counted at least 19 situations in the match that do not look “normal” at this level.
