Teammate Russell is disappointed that ‘speed is put above safety’
–
AMSTERDAM – Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton (37) and George Russell (24) are happy that the FIA is taking a serious look at what they and their team believe to be a dangerous bounce of the current generation of Formula 1 cars. “It’s nice that they are on top of it,” said the younger of the two Britons, who is also chairman of the drivers’ union. “I’m not a technician and I don’t know if the measures will actually make a difference, but as a driver I’m happy that they are in action.”
