Hamas’ Two-Year Preparation and Wired Communications for ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ Operation Revealed by CNN

The American CNN network quoted informed sources as saying that Hamas members prepared for the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation against Israel for two years, during which they abandoned their smartphones and used only wired ones.

The sources told CNN that the telephone lines in the tunnels allowed Hamas members to communicate with each other in complete confidentiality, because wired communications are difficult to track by Israeli intelligence, unlike wireless ones whose signals can be picked up.

The planners of the operation that began on October 7 against Israel also avoided using computers, until the last minute when hundreds of Hamas fighters were called in to participate in the implementation.

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict… hypotheses denied by the October 7 attack

According to the Israeli army, the tunnels built by Hamas over the course of 15 years represent a “maze” and are an ideal place to store missiles and ammunition, in addition to securing the movements of the movement’s militants without anyone noticing them.

On October 7, Hamas fighters penetrated into Israel from Gaza and carried out an unprecedented attack since the establishment of the Hebrew state in 1948, killing more than 1,400 people in Israel, most of them civilians, according to the authorities.
