HAMAP Humanitaire Bourgogne Fundraiser Event: Supporting Education for Young Girls in a Bombay Slum

HAMAP Humanitaire Bourgogne is organizing an event to raise funds for the sponsorship and education of young girls from a Bombay slum on Saturday October 28 at 8 p.m. at the multipurpose hall of Sainte Marie la Blanche. The street troupe from the Besançon Conservatory “Les Cas brioles” offers an evening of shows with the first part of the theater with “Les Musiciens de Meubret” and the second part the Cabris ball and accordion.
During the intermission, tastings of Indian specialties and crafts will be offered.
« With hindsight, we deplore much fewer marriages of young girls aged 12-13, mentalities are changing, the food rations given to families make it possible to compensate for the shortfall because Indian girls often work in sewing. » relates Pascale Bruley, the head of HAMAP Humanitaire de Bourgogne who frequently visits the site to see the actions.
