The Supreme Court on June 24 canceled the “Roe vs. Wade’ judgment. The right to abortion is no longer protected. That is difficult for artist Halsey to understand. He suffered three miscarriages and had to have an abortion a few years ago.

In an interview with Vogue, Halsey explained how an abortion can save lives: “One of my miscarriages required ‘aftercare’, a kind way of saying I needed an abortion. My body couldn’t completely terminate the pregnancy on its own and I would be at risk of getting blood poisoning if I didn’t do medical intervention. I cried during the procedure. I was afraid of myself and I was helpless.”
