Half-life is back after a long, long pause and Valve clearly plans the franchise on the heels of Half-Life: Alyx hold – but not so long ago the series had a long period of stagnation behind it. Valve has the development of the long-awaited Half-Life 2: Episode 3 canceled. Another game that was also in development and had to be canceled was the follow-up, Episode 4.

You didn’t know anything about it yet Half-Life 2: Episode 4?
Called “Return to Ravenholm” by the Arcane Studios (including Dishonored, Prey) before it was canceled. Now we have some clips that give insight into the gameplay of the canceled project. NoClip is working on a documentary Arcanes, in which their history and their games are recorded. Of course, with those games that saw the light of day and those that didn’t. A trailer for the documentary and a clip shared by them on Twitter show insights from the game, which briefly shows puzzles, environmental interactions and creepy encounters with zombies. A must for all half-life fans.
The full documentary will be released shortly. So we will be able to “return” to Ravenholm either way.
