Player Inter Milan, Hakan Calhanoglu, revealing the saddest moments of the season. The 28-year-old also confirmed that he was very comfortable staying in the Nerazzurri squad.
Calhanoglu moved to Inter Milan in the summer of 2021. His contract with AC Milan expired, decided to cross into the Inter squad contracted until June 2024.
This season, Calhanoglu immediately became an important player at Inter. He has played 42 times in all competitions with a contribution of seven goals and 11 assists.
Calhanoglu has played 31 times in the Italian League. During the Milan derby, he played in two games.
In the first round of the Italian League, Inter and Milan drew 1-1. While in the second round, the Rossoneri managed to beat Inter with a score of 2-1.
The defeat that Inter swallowed on 5 February 2022, made an impression on Calhanoglu’s mind. Inter scored first via Ivan Perisic following Calhanoglu’s pass, Milan returned twice with Olivier Giroud’s goal.
“The defeat against Milan,” Calhanoglu said on Football Italia.
Calhanoglu reveal the comfort of strengthening Inter. He already feels at home even though he has not been a member of the Inter squad for a year.
“I’m happy here at Inter, I feel at home and I want to stay,” said the Turk.
Inter is currently in an effort to catch up to Milan in the Italian League standings. I Diavolo Rosso collected 77 points to occupy the top spot, two points off Inter in second place.
