According to the exchange, the so-called blockchain bridge became the target of the theft. These bridges allow users to transfer cryptocurrencies between different applications, Reuters wrote.
Companies operating in the cryptocurrency sector have long faced theft. At the same time, blockchain bridges are becoming an increasingly frequent target of hackers. Analysis firm Chainalysis reported in August that around two billion dollars (50 billion CZK) had already been stolen from blockchain bridges, most of it this year.
