Cosmetics manufacturer H.A.Brieger started in october Amber exports to Russia.
In the new export market, the manufacturer will initially offer six product categories, including lip balms, hand creams, shower gels, liquid soaps, body creams and oral care products.
It is planned to trade in Russia Amber will be from the end of October and further deliveries to Russia will be made every month, ensuring a gradual increase in sales.
In order to start selling products on the Russian market, HABrieger had to go through a special certification process, which assesses a number of product parameters – microbiological tests and compliance with product safety criteria set in Russia. In the near future Amber cosmetic products will be available in Russia’s largest online stores OZON and WILDBERRIES, but when the certification process is fully completed, the products will also reach the largest Russian retail chains.
The company’s management predicts that after the planned cooperation, further deliveries could even be doubled.
“Historically Amber products in Russia have been highly respected, as evidenced by the high demand and responsiveness today. Our products enter the Russian market in a renewed and improved form, therefore here too we will direct the task not only to regain the trust of former buyers, but also to interest a new audience. The quality-price ratio, the proportion of natural raw materials, as well as the cultural-historical context are the aspects that allowed Amber easy return to Russia. We are really pleased that the response is great, so we will continue to develop cooperation in this market, ”says Anastasia Udalova, CEO of HABrieger.
Since the end of May 2021 Amber is available for sale in Estonian and Lithuanian online stores, and from October also in sales outlets. In June, the products also became available in more than 500 different outlets in Georgia. It is planned to develop the idea of exporting products to England, Finland, Uzbekistan and other countries in the near future. Since the resumption of production in early 2021, the company has refurbished and developed a total of 34 products in eight different lines.
Yet Amber trade has reached almost a million euros, but Amber 180,000 unique visitors to the online store.
