Guus Meeuwis is one of the candidates for the coming season of The smartest person. The seventeenth season will start on Monday December 14, the KRO-NCRV announced on Thursday.
Presenter Emma Wortelboer and television chef Sharon de Miranda also participate in the first episode. Other participants in the game show will be announced later via social media.
The smartest person was always well viewed last season. The final episode attracted 2.06 million viewers at the end of August, a record for the knowledge quiz. Presenter Astrid Kersseboom became the winner of 2020.
The program, again presented by Philip Freriks and Maarten van Rossem, can be seen daily from December 14 at 8.40 pm on NPO2.
