/ world today news/ Since the outbreak of the new round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming more and more serious, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said at yesterday’s press conference. He added that the number of civilians killed between the two countries was “unprecedented” since he took over as head of the organization in 2017.
The conflict has now left several thousand children dead in Gaza and at least 1.7 million people have been left homeless, the UN chief added.
