The opening of the season of the summer concert cycle “Liepaja Lake Music” will take place on July 5, with guitarist, composer and arranger Mārcis Auziņš climbing the floating stage in Lake Liepāja this season, the organizers inform the media.
At the opening concert of the Liepaja Lake Music season on July 5, compositions from the musician’s first solo album “Viens”, the second album “Aizrautība” as well as the third studio album, which will be released in the spring of 2021, will be performed by a guitarist. The concert will also feature world-renowned world pop music melodies arranged by Mārčs Auziņš from the gold repertoire of Stings, Nirvana and other groups and performers.
In July and August 2020, eight stylistically different concert programs are expected on the floating stage in Lake Liepāja, with the participation of artists who have gained local popularity and recognition.
Visitors of the event will measure the waterway from the shore to the floating stage with one of the pre-booked water vehicles with a boarding and ticket pass at the canal berth of the hotel “Libava” (Vecā Ostmala 29) or Makšķernieki namiņa (Vecā Ostmala 10).
