In line with the Ramones or the Cramps, the Japanese Guitar Wolf form a punk band whose motto is to play “always faster, always stronger”. true to their “Jett Rock And Roll” (referring to Joan Jett), the combo revolves around the guitar-bass-drums format to deliver wild and destructive hymns rarely exceeding two minutes watch in hand.
An energetic cross between Ramones, rockabilly, ’77 punk and garage rock. The Nagasaki trio have earned their cult status over the years, like no other Japanese band before! Since 1987 (!), their ferocious live performances – and their participation in the film Trash-rock’n’roll “Wild Zero” – have captured attention around the world.
