Guinness World Record Holder for World’s Longest Nose Passes Away at 75

A Guinness World Record holder for the world’s longest nose has died at the age of 75. Guinness World Records announced the death of Mehmet Ociurek, a Turkish citizen. Mehmet from Turkey was a man who always saw life with enthusiasm. He was known to have the longest nose in the world.

Mehmet won the title of the longest-nosed man alive three times. In 2001, he won the Guinness World Records for the first time. According to reports, Mehmet’s nose was constantly growing and increasing in size over time. However, the reason Mehmet’s nose is so large is due to a medical condition called rhinophyma.

His nose length is 8.8 cm. He will be laid to rest in his native Artwin. His loved ones gave him an emotional farewell.

The biggest nose in history

But according to reports, the longest nose in history belonged to a circus performer who lived in Yorkshire in the 18th century. His name is Thomas Wadhouse. Vedder’s nose was 19 cm long. Guinness World Records has even awarded Waders the posthumous record for the world’s largest nose. And his wax figure is in the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.
