The midfielder and captain of RC Lens, Guillaume Gillet, explained that he wanted to continue at the highest level for a while while he was 36 years old. Landed in Lens in August 2018, the Belgian community explained that it was nearing the end of its career but that it still wanted to continue at the highest level for a few years.
Physical and mental strength still present
As he explained for RTL in Belgium, Gillet knows that he is soon approaching the twilight of his career but that he still has the physical and mental strength to continue at the highest level for some time although he is coming to the end of contract this summer with the Sang et Or. He is therefore a Lens captain in great shape and who is not ready to hang up his crampons.
