An hour of playing time can take three hours of preparation. He puts a lot of energy into his music and also developed musically in the course of his career: from house to the somewhat faster and more dynamic hardstyle music in which he found his personal brand. Dropixx said about himself: “My music reflects myself. I incorporate many melodic and emotional elements and radiate my positivity through the songs.”
Even in times of Corona, the DJ made the best of the situation and immediately started with live streams. Technically, the changeover was not that big for Lukas because a video and photographer had always accompanied him when he performed. “The Meteor Club in Marktheidenfeld, for example, organized the camera team and the control technology for my livestream itself, which then benefits the operators,” says Dropixx. What was new, however, was that during the show it was not possible to see whether people were singing and dancing out loud. During his second live stream, a tablet was next to him and he was able to chat with the fans. It went something like this: “If you want it even harder, more power , write all 1, then I go full throttle.” His casual and funny manner kept the audience happy.
Livestream in 60 Metern Hhe

Live streams in the living room are too boring for the DJ: “This format is tired; too many have tried it.” Lukas Grebner wanted to offer his viewers something special: when he hung up he had a camera team and a drone on the roof of the Ghotel in Wrzburg film him at a height of 60 meters during the sunset. The effort was worth it. He received a lot of positive feedback, also from different age groups.
Another completely new, audiovisual event for him was the car disco in Geiselwind. Some of the listeners stood on the cars, surrounded by a stage with laser effects, fire, sparks and fog lights. In keeping with the atmosphere, Lukas has even reissued his LED logo for the big screen, as a car license plate or with flame effects. Animators ran through the crowd, sold drinks from shopping trolleys and threw photos of the viewers on the screen. “It was important here to design the disco as a special experience and to involve the audience by singing along or holding up cell phone lights,” explains the DJ.
He rated Corona’s influence on club culture very negatively. The clubs could not keep themselves afloat with car discos and small celebrations outdoors. It is more about showing brand presence, says the DJ. Some of his colleagues, who live from music, have applied for emergency financial aid from the state.
Dropixx fans can look forward to more of his own songs in the near future, also from collaborations. You can watch his live streams on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/dropixx/
