Description
GREENTEC fertilizers, with slow delivery technology, contain in their formulation the DMPP molecule that controls microbial activity, temporarily inhibiting the work of the bacteria responsible for nitrification, delaying the passage from ammonia to nitric nitrogen; thus maintaining a continuous flow of nutrients for more than 3 months. Unlike traditional nitrogen fertilizers, the use of slow delivery fertilizers reduces water pollution by nitrates (less leaching) and reduces the energy consumption of plants, since they do not need to transform nitrates (NO3-) into ammonia (NH4 + ) to be taken advantage of. GREENTEC SPRING – SUMMER delivers the extra amount of nitrogen that grass needs in times of active growth and high temperatures. This makes it possible to cope with the demands generated by foliar growth and increase tolerance to seasonal water stress. Specially designed for golf course fairways and other quality meadows. The sulfur in the formula allows to lower the pH in the root zone, increasing the availability of microelements that are generally “not available” in the soil.
