In the municipal council elections on September 26th, the name Schönmayr appears three times on the list number 1 among the Greens. Martin Schönmayr is running in Pichl near Wels, his daughter Christine in Garsten near Steyr and his brother Roland is the top candidate for the eco party in Bad Goisern for the first time. Politics is in their blood, their father or grandfather Hermann Schönmayr was a Green from the very beginning. The long-time Pichler elementary school director died in 2006.
