Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said the March 10 meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would take place primarily thanks to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
According to the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, Kuleba confirmed in a live TV broadcast that he would sit at the negotiating table with Lavrov.
“The March 10 meeting will be held primarily thanks to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. I don’t know if Erdogan (Turkish President Recep Tayyip) convinced Putin (Russian President Vladimir) or Cavusoglu Lavrov, but the meeting will take place.” said Kuleba.

The Ukrainian minister noted that Lavrov has been avoiding any negotiations with him for two years now, bilaterally or within the framework of the “Quartet of Normandy”.
“Now he suddenly agreed, maybe he wanted to convey something. We will listen to him, but I will talk to him with the thought that Sergei Lavrov is one of the architects of the aggression against Ukraine. “
Asked whether the issue of the occupied Crimea and Donbas would be raised at the meeting, Kuleba said his country had no intention of giving up anything.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Cavusoglu announced that he and his Russian counterpart Lavrov and Ukrainian counterpart Kuleba would hold a tripartite meeting on March 10 on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum in Antalya.
The fourth round of talks between Russia and Ukraine will take place after the Lavrov-Kuleba meeting.
