Governor of Georgia confirms two cases of coronavirus in the state | Univision 34 Atlanta WUVG

Atlanta Georgia. Two Atlanta residents are the first people in Georgia to test positive for the coronavirus, Governor Brian Kemp along with several state officials confirmed the information.

The couple showed symptoms of the disease shortly after one of the people returned to Georgia after a trip to Italy, authorities said.

The death toll from the coronavirus in the United States rose to six on Monday and the disease spread to more countries and world capitals, even when new cases in China fell to their lowest level in six weeks.
