Governor Kicillof Launches $5 Million Personal Loan Line for Education Workers at Banco Provincia

Governor Axel Kicillof announced the launch of a personal loan line from Banco Provincia (Bapro) with a maximum amount of $5 millionterms of up to 36 months and a fixed rate of 60% annually for education workers.

The announcement was made by the governor within the framework of an event that he led in Lomas de Zamora, at the inauguration of Kindergarten No. 952. There he launched the special line of credits for teachers, professors and assistants “so that in September, the month in which we honor them, they can access some of what they need and perhaps their income is not enough.”

The financing is aimed at education workers in the province – teaching and non-teaching staff -, public and private, and at any level, who receive their salaries in Banco Provincia. More than 400,000 people, including teachers and assistants at schools and institutions, are able to access the benefit.

These are loans of up to $5 million, with a single signature (depending on the applicant’s credit rating and credit margin), with a special fixed rate of 60%to be paid in three years and whose payment cannot affect more than 35% of the loan holder’s income.

The Executive Branch stated that It can be requested from September 11 through homebanking and in all branches and it was specified that, once approvedthe money is credited to the person’s account in 24 hours if ordered online and immediately if managed in person at the bank headquarters. Likewise, if the applicant does not have a Banco Provincia credit card, he or she will be able to access a Visa and/or Mastercard, with a 40% discount on their first purchase in installments.
