Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reported that he consulted with President Donald Trump on the decision to restrict further measures in the state, in order to contain the spread of coronavirus.

“I am going to make an executive order that indicates to all Floridians who limit movement and personal interactions outside the home, ”said DeSantis at a press conference.

He explained that exceptions will be allowed to those who perform essential jobs or have a job in businesses that fall into this category.

In addition, DeSantis commented that while he cannot compel residents to be locked in their rooms, he asked that people act responsibly.

The measure will be effective for 30 days, even though there are some counties that are not being so affected by the infections.

However, Florida is currently on the verge of becoming the next state in being an epicenter of coronavirus outbreaks.
