Government Targets 141.2 Million Vulnerable Community Groups for Vaccination July to August

Previously, in the first wave of the national vaccination program, the targeted groups were 1.3 million health workers in 34 provinces, 21.5 million elderly people, 17.4 million public officers.

He also explained that the Ministry of Health took steps to simplify the vaccination flow from five service desks to two service desks.

At the first table, there are at least two health workers consisting of screening officers and vaccinators to screen targets in the form of vital signs and medical history questions.

“Participants who have passed the screening can be directly given the vaccine at the first table and the officer fills in the results of the screening and vaccination,” he said.

At the second table, the officer entered data from the control paper into the Pcare, then the observation time was reduced to 15-30 minutes.

Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Gunadi Sadikin states, as many as 27 million people have received the Covid-19 vaccination. It is hoped that the rate of vaccination can be accelerated by increasing the availability of vaccines.

Budi said the number of injections had again touched 500 thousand people per day. Currently, Indonesia’s vaccine stock in June reached 20 million vaccines.
