Government Sets August 21 as Joint Leave

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government set 21 August 2020 as leave together. Holidays together it’s right day after day holiday Islamic New Year 1442 Hijri which falls on 20 August.

“Please report to the wider community that Friday, August 21, 2020, will serve as a leave of absence with State Civil Service Employees for the Islamic New Year 1442 Hijriah,” Minister of State Secretary Pratikno told reporters, Tuesday (18/8/2020).

The determination of this joint leave is stipulated in Presidential Decree Number 17 of 2020 concerning Leave Together The 2020 State Civil Service Employees signed by President Joko Widodo today.

“Establishing a joint leave of state civil servants in 2020, namely on August 21, 2020 (Friday) as a joint leave of Islamic New Year 1442 Hijriah,” said the Presidential Decree.

With national holidays and collective leave coinciding with this Saturday and Sunday, ASN can enjoy a four-day holiday this weekend.
